Meet Chef Godfrey - Our Master Baker

Godfrey McKenzie is an Authentic Artisan Bread Baker, European trained Master Pastry Chef, and an active member of the American Baking and Culinary Federation. He received the prestigious Pastry Chef Award of Merit “Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs”, France. He specializes in artisan-style, ultra-premium crafted breads and elegant European desserts and pastries.

Drawn from his own fascination with watching bakers create beautiful edible pieces inspired him to develop his talent in the culinary arts. His passion for bread, flavor combinations, emphasis on artistry, and incredible ability to combine authenticity and innovation in the world of European baking have built his reputation in the culinary world.

Over the past two decades, Chef McKenzie has worked as an Artisan Baker and Pastry Chef in number of well-known hotels, resorts, country clubs, and cruise lines: Sheraton, Waldorf Astoria, Hilton, Quail West Golf and Country Club, and Silversea cruise line out of France, to name just a few. He has been fortunate enough to cruise and create artistic, fine-dining desserts in more than 30 countries.

His true passion is blending culinary mastery with artistic flair to create one-of-a-kind baked masterpieces.
